Reaching and Preparing the Wood Deck

Four layers of underlayment were uncovered when DeSantis Roofing began tearing off the old roof at this Winter Park home. All four layers had to be cleared away to reach the wood substrate.

Once the deck was exposed, the crew patched and re-nailed the wood where necessary. DeSantis then installed the Owens Corning Duration shingle system.
